Excellent and genuine 1944 Ford GPW Jeep.
Found in a barn in Northern France in 1950 by the new owner of the farm. This Jeep was found with the drive wheels off hooked up with a link up to some old farm machinery. It still had a live .30 cal browning machine gun which got deactivated and sold on.
The Jeep was bought back to the UK and had an extensive restoration over two and a half years. The engine was dated to a war time engine of 1944. The frame was also dated to that period with the stars and frame number.
The Jeep is factory fresh and drives faultless just like it came off the production line. After its restoration it was in Dallas Autos to show customers the high standard which can be achieved with the correct restoration. Some of you may remember it at Dallas Autos, it sat there at a very high price.
However I am now selling the Jeep to invest in a property in Devon. It will also come with a full set of canvas and side bags dated 1943. A very rare find in this condition,
