1943 LWB Jeep, Willys MB chassis with an original Ford script tub.
This Jeep has been lengthened at some point early in its life by approximately 2ft making it very practical over a standard Jeep. It was rescued from an orchard in the early 60s where it was being used to transport apples hence the Ford body as the original tub was rotten. The previous owners who found it also restored it to use as their work truck and converted it to daily road use up until 1984 when it failed an MOT and got parked in a garage until I got hold of it in 2018 from Barry at Whitedell Engineering.
A very original Jeep with a nice mix of early MB & F script parts, converted to 12v, has a new custom canvas cover, full set of original combat rims plus a couple of later spare wheels.
Rear seat and bumper are modern repo parts as they were missing from the Jeep when I got it.
Recently had new steering linkages and rod ends fitted & valve adjustment.
