1943 Willys jeep full nut and bolt restoration 2007
All original chassis, engine, gearbox and running gear overhauled. Brass I.D. plates on inner wing and chassis leg indicate its British army history giving its military registration number and that it was overhauled to class 1 standard in 1951 by No.7 workshops REME.
It’s Willys jeep chassis number and ‘M’ number on the bonnet and disposal information is also documented on a British army keycard issued at the time. Bonnet, wings, windscreen, grill, combat rims are all original as is most of the jeep, however a new tub was fitted in 2007. New hood and upholstery done by John and Mary Worthing.
Very reluctant sale after owning it for 20+ years, little used in all that time Offers around £25,000
