A fantastic example of a very rare WW2 British made Vickers HMG. During WWII the British War Office were contracted to produce a special run of just 200 of these Vickers machine guns for the Egyptians. These guns had a unique serialization ET1 to ET200 (This is one of them). The first and last letters of Egypt were used at the beginning of the serial number to identify this very small contract. These were made by Vickers Armstrong at the Crayford factory in Kent. This example is in absolutely beautiful condition, it has many VA stamped parts and it still retains its original numbered barrel. Comes with a 1934 dated Enfield manufactured cradle with a 1942 tripod, and wooden storage crate. A museum grade example of a Vickers HMG! Comes complete with deactivation certificate.
